What happens when Minecraft 1.1 and 1.0 mix

Here’s what I did: booted up Minecraft in 1.1, created a new super flat world, loaded it up, and left almost instantly. Then I booted into 1.0.0, and this is what happened. Only a few chunks had loaded, and the rest generated around it. I was lucky enough to have a stronghold generate at the spawn, which made things very interesting. Thanks for looking!

How to get a cape in Minecraft

So you didn’t go to Minecon, but you still want one of those shiny capes that everyone else has. Never fear, Capes for Steve is here to save the day! This simple mod I created, is here to bring you capes, and only capes. It’s really simple to set up, and it’s coded from the ground up to work with other mods, like Zombe’s collection of mods. It even works with other players in Multiplayer servers!

Download it here, and this is how to install it:

1. Go to your .minecraft folder, then open the bin folder inside of that. Open the Minecraft.jar file with 7Zip or a similar application.
2. Delete the Meta-inf folder inside of your Minecraft.jar file.
3. Copy in and replace the vi.class file in your minecraft.jar file, with the vi.class file included in the zip folder.
4. Open up Minecraft, and enjoy the capes!

Important MC server updates

This is the new spawn in the NEW PVP world. It’s going to be awesome. I’m still holding the January 1st release date, but if things don’t look like they’re going to work by then, I’ll release a beta on the 1st only open to mods and donators. (This would be a great time to donate to my server. It comes with lots of great benefits, and early access to the new PVP world. (it’s open to donators right now).

In other news, we now have an online shop for the server! We’ve started it out with some mob disguise, as well as permission to fly (currently 50% off!), so go there if you’re interested in flying in my server, or if you want to donate. Donating, is also 50% off, going at just $2.50 for a month, $5 for 3 months, and $10 lifetime. Go grab these deals while they’re hot, as I’m not sure how long they’ll stay on sale.
